Centre for Grassorot Development Research and Action is established as a state level non-governmental organization by a group of devoted researchers, social workers and professionals with a noble mission to promote multi-faceted rural development. The organization is registered under Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act, 1973 as the Association of Grass root development Research and Action in the year 1996. We have also registered under Section 12 A & 80 G (5)(vi) of Income Tax Act. Majority of the Indian population resides in the villages which needs continuous efforts for socio-economic development to have self sustaining development in the rural areas. A change in terms of technology, employment patterns, skills, health education, and positive environment towards it is the need of the hour. In order to achieve these avowed challenges and responsibilities CGDRA has come into existence. Since its inception, the organization is functioning in the direction of socio-economic development for rural areas in the field of Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Science and Technology, Environment, Health Research, Skill Development and Capacity building. Working Since 2004 Our Organization CGDRA has successfully implemented various project related to rural development through information education and communication funded by various government organizations. Through its projects CGDRA has provided benefits to almost 1,50,000 (One Lac Fifty Thousand) rural beneficiaries and almost to 50,000 (Fifty Thousand) woman beneficiaries under Various schemes and strengthen them.

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) Govt. of India announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyay Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) as part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM). It aims at skilling rural youth and placing them in regular salaried employment.
The Ministry of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare, Govt. of India, in association with MANAGE, implements the Agri-Clinic and Agri-Business Centres (AC&ABC) Scheme to provide extension services to farmers and generate self-employment for agriculture graduates.
ATMA (Agricultural Technology Management Agency) Project, Krishi Vistar Sudhar Karyakram under Kisan Call Centre – a Government of India initiative to provide technology-based agricultural extension services to farmers at the district level.
A grassroot-level training initiative focused on building capacities of rural communities through hands-on vocational and life-skills training programs conducted at block and village levels.
Village Salari, District Agarmalwa (M.P.) – 21 hectares of land allotted to CGDRA for establishing an Open Training Center to provide practical, field-based training in agriculture and allied sectors.
Our organization is contracted with MGSIRD&PR (Mahatma Gandhi State Institute of Rural Development and Panchayati Raj) to deliver capacity-building training programmes to elected representatives and functionaries of Panchayati Raj Institutions across Madhya Pradesh.
Training program for ASHA (Accredited Social Health Activist) workers under the National Health Mission (NHM), Madhya Pradesh. The program enhances healthcare delivery skills and community health awareness among frontline health workers.
Implementation program under Jal Jeevan Mission, Madhya Pradesh Jal Nigam Maryadit, Bhopal. Project Location: Nalkheda, Agarmalwa – focused on providing safe and adequate drinking water to every rural household through individual functional household tap connections.
Implementation program under Jal Jeevan Mission, Public Health Engineering Department, Sheopur & Jal Bhawan, Bhopal (M.P.). Project Location: Sheopur – ensuring every rural household receives clean tap water under the Government of India flagship scheme.
