Centre for Grassorot Development Research and Action is a ISO Certified National level Non-governmental organization by a group of devoted researchers, social workers and professionals with a noble mission to promote multi-faceted development of rural & urban population. The organization is registered under Madhya Pradesh Society Registration Act, 1973 as the Association for Grassroot Development Research and Action in the year 1996. We have also registered under Section 12 A & 80 G (5)(vi) of Income Tax Act, CSR 1 Under Ministry of Corporate Affairs. We also empaneled and working with National as well as State level Government & Corporate organizations. We focus majority of the Indian population resides in the villages which needs continuous efforts for socioeconomic development to have self-sustaining livelihood generation. A change in terms of technology, employment patterns, skills, health education, and positive environment towards it, is the need of the hour. In order to achieve these avowed challenges and responsibilities CGDRA has come into existence. Since its inception, the organization is functioning in the direction of Sustainable development for rural & urban women, youth & Farmers in the field of Panchayati Raj, Agriculture, Science and Technology, Environment, Health, Research, Skill Development and Capacity building. During last 23 years our Organization CGDRA has successfully implemented various project related to rural development, agricultural training & development, Skill Development, Livelihood generation, Awareness Generation, Environmental conservation, water conservation, etc. through information education and communication funded by various government organizations as well as Corporate & individuals. Through its projects CGDRA has directly & indirectly benefited to almost 2,00,000 (02 Lac) of beneficiaries including more than 45,000(Forty five Thousand) women beneficiaries.

• Educate rural women about their legal rights and encourage community leadership.
• Improve rural infrastructure including clean drinking water, sanitation and basic amenities.

Our objective is to build self-reliant communities and improve the overall quality of life for rural and marginalized populations.
Since 2004, CGDRA has successfully implemented various projects related to rural development through Information, Education and Communication initiatives funded by government organizations. Through these projects, the organization has benefited more than 2,45,000 rural beneficiaries and empowered over 45,000 women beneficiaries under various development schemes.
